About me
I am wife to Jeff, and the mother of 3 beautiful kiddos and 2 step kids. They are all great kids, I feel very lucky to have them all.
My youngest child is 6 months old, so I am very busy with him as well as the other 4 kids these days.
I don't have time to do much else, but I do like to try and get out to walk/run when possible. Preferably outside!
I had knee surgery a few months before I got pregnant so now I'm trying to strengthen my knee so I can get back to at least running 5k distances.
Once upon a time I loved to run and bike and exercise in general. I have completed a couple of triathlons, a couple of half marathons (one of them in a tropical storm!) and several smaller runs (10 miles, 5 miles, 10k's and 5k's)
I also got to my orange belt in Tai Kwon Do.
I consider myself a fledgling Christian. Although I was brought up going to church, I drifted (far) away for a lot of years. I started going to church again a few years ago and am still learning about, and traveling the path to know God. I believe it will be a continuous journey throughout my life.
One of my favorite quotes that I saw recently outside a church is:
" I am a Christian. I am not perfect...just forgiven."
